UNCOVERED:
THE WAR ON IRAQ
DEBUTS IN THEATERS
Los Angeles, CA (August 20, 2004) - Director Robert Greenwald's documentary feature, Uncovered: The War On Iraq debuts this week in theaters. L.A. Entertainment, Inc's, CEO, Jim Ervin, acts as co-composer and music supervisor for the film's soundtrack. The feature chronicles the Bush administration's determined quest to invade Iraq following the events of September 11, 2001.
Uncovered: The War On Iraq deconstructs the administration's case for war through interviews with U.S. intelligence / defense officials, foreign service experts, and U.N. weapons inspectors – including a former CIA director, a former ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and even President Bush’s Secretary of the Army. Their analyses and conclusions are sobering, and often disturbing, regardless of one’s political affiliations.
"This is a timely and interesting project for us musically, especially in light of the upcoming presidential election," related Mr. Ervin. "The score for this film utilizes a wide array of musical elements, including large scale orchestral pieces that support the subject matter of Uncovered."
Uncovered: The War On Iraq debuts this week in New York, Washington D.C., and Massachusetts. August 27th, it will open in fourteen additional theaters in various markets around the country. The film will also be featured at upcoming film festivals in Toronto, London, Stockholm, and eleven other international territories through February, 2005.
