THE THORNBIRDS PLANT SEEDS
Los Angeles, CA (November 19, 2004) - Warrior artist The Thornbirds are at Record Plant recording new tracks for their second album that is to be released late summer 2005, as reported today by Jim Ervin, CEO, L.A. Entertainment, Inc.
"Our company is excited about The forthcoming Thornbirds sophomore album,” expressed Jim Ervin. "The new songs are tremendous and the band is demonstrating true artistic growth. We recorded the basic tracks at Record Plant here in Los Angeles and the sound is awesome. We will be completing eighteen new songs, which will then be paired down to ten or twelve cuts for the album. During the sessions, we also brought in Michael Finnigan to overdub B3 and piano parts. Mike's a marvelous musician who has played with Crosby, Stills, and Nash for the better part of thirty years, among numerous others. He added a very cool element to certain songs. This new Thornbirds album will be something very special."

The Thornbirds are on the rise! They have been
heard on the Howard Stern radio program, featured twice as "Net Unknowns"
on Net Music Countdown, showcased in MacAddict Magazine, and been finalists
in the CALL-ATT Battle Of The Bands. Lately, their music may be heard on MTV's
various reality series, including Real World / Road Rules and Extreme
Challenge. The four members of The Thornbirds are consummate songwriters
and musicians. Guitarist/Vocalist Russ Parrish and drummer Darren Leader formed
the group while playing in some of the most popular cover bands in the U.S.
(Atomic Punks, Metal Skool), Rhythm guitarist Jimmy Oleson also fronts an 80's
Tribute band (The Spazmatics), while bassist Dean Cameron's "day job"
includes acting credits in over 20 movies and regular TV roles.
